Pola is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, Poland and College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University, MN, USA. Currently Pola is pursuing an LL.M. degree at University of California, Berkeley School of Law (LL.M. Law & Technology Certificate). She is a practicing antitrust attorney and an antitrust enthusiast. She gained her experience in European and Polish competition law while working as an associate in two leading Polish law firms in Warsaw (Wierzbowski Eversheds, Salans). Pola’s legal practice focuses on antitrust investigations and litigation with special emphasis on telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. As an associate Pola advised various domestic and international clients in matters relating to abuse of market dominance, cartel, and merger control. Her work also included the abuse of dominance case of the Polish telecoms incumbent before the European Commission and a pending pan-European alleged cartel. A significant part of Pola’s practice involves advising pharmaceutical groups in the conception, drawing up and implementation of their distribution policy in Poland.
