Louis Vogel was born in 1954 and graduated from Yale Law School (LL.M, 1982) and Paris II Law School (Doctor of Law, 1985). Mr. Vogel was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1981 and to the New York Bar in 1990. Louis Vogel is the President of the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas. He is a Professor of Law at the University of Paris II. Director of the Institute of Comparative Law of the University of Paris, he lectures in European and Comparative Competition Law. Mr. Vogel is the author of several books on French and European Competition Law, French commercial law, and editor of several legal journals. He is also the founder of Vogel & Vogel, a French competition law firm established in 1990.
